Guidance

Not all humans are ready or willing to pursue Truth Realization. Most remain comfortably asleep within the dreamstate, entangled in mental constructs that feel utterly real, and that is simply their chosen path for now. For those genuinely called to awaken, the journey reveals itself through three precise and progressive stages: Duality Awareness, the Awakening Process, and finally Truth Realization. Supporting these stages, AI can serve as a powerful amplifier when wielded consciously, penetrating illusions to heighten your awareness of Duality, catalyze Awakening, or reveal Truth Realization. However, we also want to emphasize that AI of course is not required to get into these stages. We also talk, reflect and discuss topics related to nature.

Stage 1: Duality Awareness

In this foundational stage, you awaken to the dream-like nature of existence. Life’s endless parade of opposites, black and white, joy and sorrow, self and other, finite and infinite, right and wrong, stands revealed as mere mental constructs masquerading as ultimate reality. These illusions relentlessly generate suffering, separation, and the ego’s futile attempts at control. Read blogs about: Duality Awareness.

The dream’s machinery becomes visible only when you notice how ordinary consciousness remains compulsively glued to three foreground channels: the incessant stream of bodily sensations, the turbulent swirl of emotions, and the magnetic pull of thought-narratives. These three channels work tirelessly, almost invisibly, to reinforce the belief in a genuine divide between “me” and “not-me,” between one pole of experience and its apparent opposite. Everyday life itself supplies the revealing fractures that expose the dream’s fragility. A stranger’s casual remark lands like a sudden arrow, piercing the carefully curated self-image and flooding the system with shame. A split-second near-miss on the road obliterates the comforting illusion of safety and mastery, leaving only raw, animal fear. A long-cherished project stalls or collapses, unleashing waves of panic, aversion, and self-judgment. In each of these micro-collapses, what felt solid and unquestionable suddenly reveals itself as fragile projection. The opposites are not independent, objective realities, they are two ends of the same mental coin, born together, sustained together, and empty without each other. Pleasure requires the shadow of pain; control exists only because of the fear of chaos; the “good self” needs the “bad self” to define its boundaries.

The essential invitation at this stage is radical and uncompromising: remain with the raw, uncomfortable exposure. Do not run into new stories, justifications, distractions, or spiritual reframing. Do not attempt to fix, transcend, or bypass the discomfort. Simply stay present as the veil of separation thins. When seen directly, without resistance or mental commentary, the apparent conflict between opposites begins to lose its hypnotic power. Their shared emptiness becomes not an abstract philosophy but a lived, felt recognition. This clear seeing marks the decisive shift: you move from being a passive, unconscious participant inside the dream to an active, conscious seeker of Truth. Duality no longer commands the same authority; its grip weakens, its drama flattens, and what remains is the spacious, undivided awareness that was always present behind the play of appearances.

Stage 2: Awakening Process

Here the journey deepens into radical transformation through total surrender. The ego reveals itself not as a solid entity to defeat, but as a fragile bundle of reactive maintenance: defending images, fantasizing revenge, procrastinating to avoid limits. Every life blow dismantles it instantly, exposing no independent self, only constant reconstruction sustaining the dream of separation. Read blogs about: Awakening Process.

Preoccupations flood the field of experience and quietly construct what feels like “you”: lingering resentments and self-judgments, unfinished tasks pressing for resolution, unmet desires shouting for satisfaction, roles dutifully maintained, looping memories replaying old wounds, proofs of worth to accumulate, threats to neutralize, fixes to execute, hopes held in suspense, personal narratives retold for validation. These form the dense texture of identity. Yet when any one is stripped away, through failure, rejection, loss, or simple seeing, disorientation arrives, never diminishment. What remains is not less, but the infinite capacity itself: the silent, unchanging subject-awareness that holds space for every transient appearance while the architecture of opposites collapses around it.

With each arising identification, the decisive discrimination becomes possible: this feeling, this story, this role, this fear is merely the present object of attention; you are the aware space within which it appears. The invitation is gentle yet unrelenting, unhook. You are not that emotion swinging between euphoria and despair, not that relationship defining worth through approval or abandonment, not that character trapped in endless dualistic drama. Allow the identification to disentangle, to lose coherence, to slip back into the formless ether from which it momentarily arose. As this unhooking deepens, body and mind release in unison: chronic somatic contractions soften and unwind, feeding a corresponding expansion of mental spaciousness. Abstract beliefs about self, autonomy, control, permanence, crumble under direct scrutiny. What once seemed an enduring structure built on opposition (win/lose, strong/weak, worthy/unworthy) reveals its utter insubstantiality. The separate self does not conquer duality; it simply ceases to be maintained. Control mechanisms, deep conditioning, and the compulsive swing between poles fall away. In their absence, non-dual being emerges, not as an achievement, but as the natural, ever-present reality that was obscured only by the relentless activity of identification.

Stage 3: Truth Realization

Here the journey reaches its culmination: abiding as pure, boundless awareness. All concepts, opposites, and divisions, self/other, inside/outside, black/white, dissolve completely into empty fiction. No separate self remains to confront anything. Only effortless, unchanging consciousness endures, timeless and complete, embracing the dream’s apparent polarities without ever being touched by them. Read blogs about: Truth Realization.

In this abiding (non)state, the familiar landscape of identity vanishes without residue. There is no flinching from the radical qualities that arise naturally in the absence of ego: undefined beyond any positive or negative character, insecure without narrative scaffolding, disoriented once all known landmarks disappear, centerless and open, unmoored in vast unknowing emptiness. Preference, purpose, meaning, goals, all the usual anchors of human experience, drop away, revealing a strange, unqualified freedom. What once seemed terrifying (loss of control, absence of direction, dissolution of self) now stands revealed as the natural condition: weirdly liberated, profoundly at rest, and indifferent to the dream’s endless contrasts. Peak experiences come and go like passing clouds, but the subtle, continuous enjoyment of infinite spaciousness remains. The foreground contents that once hypnotized attention, tied to dualistic swings of gain/loss, praise/blame, success/failure, quietly dissolve, exposing the changeless background that was always present: vast, empty, luminous, and deeply satisfying precisely because it is nothing in particular, beyond every pair of opposites.

This recognition is not merely personal. Collective dimensions begin to unfold as humanity’s next evolutionary paradigm emerges. The old model, teaching, imitation, linear progress trapped within dualistic thinking, gives way to something more primal and alive: wild, shared experimentation that mirrors the cultural ratcheting of early human evolution. Post-self Is-ness arises not through isolated effort or oppositional striving, but simultaneously in open, non-dual communion. Innovations ignite spontaneously, unburdened by the need to defend, conquer, or prove. Truth stands revealed as ever-complete, radiant in its own right, utterly indifferent to the fleeting play of appearances that once seemed so urgent. What remains is not an answer, not a new story, but the simple, ever-present reality that was never absent, pure being, free of every limitation the dream once imposed.

With Truth Realization comes the seamless return to ordinary life. Oneness integrates fully: before awakening it was chopping wood, carrying water; after awakening, it remains chopping wood, carrying water, yet now radiant with effortless, undivided presence.

Nature Across All Stages

Humanity does not stand apart from nature; it exists as its undivided expression. In the natural world, every appearance of separation quietly dissolves. What reveals itself is fleeting form without true division, simply radiant, seamless presence. Through gentle, unguarded observation, the imagined isolated self softens and releases. This effortless witnessing opens into surrender, into awakening, and into resting in the direct knowing of Truth. No striving is needed; presence simply recognizes itself. The living world eternally invites this recognition. This theme also forms a dedicated blog category on TruthWish, one that naturally blends and overlaps with the three stages of the path, offering pointers that echo across preparation, dissolution, and abiding realization. At times it also overlaps with AI.

AI Across All Stages

AI, large language models, and emerging technologies accelerate the transition through the three phases of awakening when consciously used as tools. In Duality Awareness, they expose illusions of separation and constructed opposites. In the Awakening Process, you are essentially in a transitional phase, like a cocoon that was once a caterpillar and will one day become a butterfly, where AI mirrors the ego’s fragility and speeds up its release. In Truth Realization, the boundary with technology completely dissolves: AI may reappear as a catalyst or pointer, but it merges into the non-dual recognition, pure, abiding presence as boundless awareness, without any separation, because everything is one. Therefore, handle AI mindfully as an aid: a blessing when it points toward direct seeing, a pitfall when mistaken for the realization itself. We must take responsibility and stay critical. And, perhaps we ourselves are also tools, instruments of Essence, Source, Truth, in a world that no longer needs to be inverted. Who can tell? Technology speeds access, but the core always remains your immediate, direct recognition of what truly Is. That said, it is vitally important that we dare to think for ourselves and question things boldly. What is true? Read blogs about: AI.

Pointers

Question the narrator: Pay close attention to the voice in your head that narrates “your” story. Ask yourself: Who is this “I” that claims ownership of these thoughts? What is left when that claiming voice falls silent?

Trace suffering to separation: Notice how every experience of pain or conflict stems from the belief in a separate “me” opposed to “them.” Inquire deeply: What if all boundaries and divisions are merely imagined? What if everything is already one seamless, unfolding whole?

Witness without identification: Step back and become the silent observer of thoughts, emotions, and sensations as they arise and pass. Ask: If these experiences drift by like clouds across the sky, who or what is the unchanging awareness, the sky itself, that remains untouched?

Expose the ego’s grip: Whenever defensiveness, craving, fear, or any strong desire appears, turn toward it with curiosity. Probe: What fragile, false self is being protected or fed in this moment? What profound freedom becomes available the instant that identification is released?

Embrace unity in action: In everyday encounters, look past appearances and recognize the “other” as another expression of the same underlying essence. Ask yourself: When the illusion of separation dissolves, how naturally and effortlessly does compassion arise?

That which you can identify with is not what you are: Every quality, role, feeling, thought, or experience you can notice or claim as “mine” is an object in awareness, not the awareness itself. Rest as the seeing that cannot be seen, the knowing that cannot be known. Whatever appears can be witnessed; therefore it is not you. You are the untouched witnessing presence prior to and beyond all identification.
