What is Truth?

Truth. What is truth? Is it a fixed concept, an idea we can define, or something far greater than thought can ever reach? When we look closely, truth begins to feel less like a word and more like a living silence. It is not built from opinions or beliefs but rests quietly behind every experience. Whenever we stop chasing answers and simply rest in what is, something beautiful happens. The movement of thought slows, and beneath it all we sense a steady presence that was never gone. Truth does not shout or demand to be understood. It simply exists, whole and unchanging. It is the space through which everything moves, the background that never disappears even as life endlessly unfolds upon its surface.

To come near this truth, we often have to let go of old ideas. The mind clings to its definitions, its notions of right and wrong, real and unreal. Yet truth is not found in conclusions. It begins where certainty ends. Every identity we have built, every role and story, forms a veil that hides the open expanse beneath. When you begin to see these layers for what they are, the illusion of separation softens. It is as if the clouds that once seemed to fill the entire sky slowly drift away, revealing the clarity that was always there. What remains is not emptiness but a vivid, boundless awareness that flows gently through every moment of existence.

This process can bring a sense of unease. Letting go of what seemed solid can feel like losing stability. But the falling away of what is false is not a loss. It is an unveiling. Each belief that fades creates room for honesty and openness. The discomfort that arises is only the echo of attachment, and when it settles, clarity emerges. Gradually you realize that you were never the story but the silent space through which all stories pass. Life continues, changing and flowing, yet it no longer binds you. You remain as the quiet witness, untouched by the passing play of forms.

So what is truth? It is that which cannot be taken away, the silent source of every appearance. It has no rival and no edge. Words can suggest it but never contain it, just as the word ocean is not the sea itself. Truth is non-dual, infinite and whole. It is the timeless awareness that allows every moment to arise and fade. When you look deeply enough, there is no longer a seeker and a search but only this clear seeing. Truth is being itself, beyond beginning or end, and when you recognize this, you will find that you were never apart from it for even an instant.
